Programme
Electric and Autonomous Vehicle Technician
Diagnose and service batteries, drivetrains, charging equipment and vehicle sensors.
What you work on.
First semester
- Electric drivetrains and safe isolation
- Batteries and charging equipment
- Measurement, fault codes and diagnostics
- Vehicle sensors and service records
A typical week is 3 classes and 3 practical workshops, covering operation and technical work. Each session is 3 hours. There are at most 2 sessions a day and at most 3 days a week.
Assessment is based on problem-solving and teamwork across real projects.
- Electric motors and drivetrains
- Battery cells, modules, packs and management systems
- Charging equipment and connectors
- Inverters, converters and power electronics
- Cooling and thermal management
- Safe measurement and isolation procedures
- Diagnostic tools, fault codes and operating data
- Vehicle sensors used in autonomous systems
- Maintenance records and service communication
Who it is for.
For people interested in vehicles, electricity, batteries and practical technical service.
You learn how batteries, motors, charging equipment, sensors and control systems work together. Safety stays at the centre of diagnostics and maintenance.
Where it can lead.
Electric vehicle service, batteries, charging infrastructure, vehicle sensors, fleet maintenance and technical support.
